Re-Stretch & Prime

Re-stretch crisp, new 340gsm 100% cotton duck cloth onto your previously-used stretcher frames, before double hand-priming and sanding (if required) for the ultimate makeover.

Mounts

Masonite (hardboard), Supawood (MDF) or Plywood boards, mounted onto our signature finger-joined, blonde obeche stretchers.

MOUNTS
Stretcher Frames

Skillfully crafted, our obeche stretcher frames are guaranteed against warping.

Rebated at 45 degrees to lift the canvas away from the frame, and for larger canvases where crossbars are installed,  beading is fitted to lift the cloth away from the crossbars.

Priming

We double hand-prime and sand, achieving  a smooth, luxurious texture, with enough tooth to grip your paint.

 

100% non-absorbent, reduces the amount of paint you use.

Stretching

Professional varnishing services to extend the lifespan of your print and to protect it from dust, evening out the work's final appearance.

STRETCH
Wedged Canvas

Adjustable “wedges” of wood that are fitted into the corners of canvas frames (8 per frame, and two per cross bar) used for “re-tightening” your canvas should it have slackened over time / transit / temperature changes

Varnishing

Professional varnishing services to extend the lifespan of your print and to protect it from dust, evening out the work's final appearance.

PRINT
Printing

Digital printing of the highest quality, reproducing original artworks on pure white canvas or acid-free archival matte paper.

We only use the purest white canvas, allowing us to produce original paintings at 95% of their true colour balance.

Artist Acrylic

A range of professional quality, bright, lightfast and vibrant colours for the artist who demands superior quality at affordable prices. The colours have high pigment levels to give optimum opacity and performance combined with a 100% pure acrylic binder for maximum durability. The acrylics have a soft and buttery consistency with an attractive satin finish. They have excellent brush stroke retention.

Student Acrylic

Only high quality, light fast pigments are used. Viscosity is lower than that of the Artist’s Acrylics, but due to the high pigment loading still offers exceptional coverage. Student Acrylics have an attractive satin finish due to the high level of acrylic binder and low level of inert fillers. Quality and value make for an excellent choice for students.
